I was lucky enough to encounter this little number on the Thanksgiving buffet yesterday, mini marshmallows and all..... affectionately named WATERGATE SALAD.

Dude, was my dead grandmother at your T-giving buffet? She used to make something similar. I never knew it had a name.
Watergate salad still makes appearances on my family table - but it's not that weird green color. Waldorf salad is another favorite. Also a delight with mini-marshmallows (that my mom said she put in for Eli).
